Valhalla DSP has released a new reverb/echo plugin called "FutureVerb", which was created after eight years of research and development.
FutureVerb combines eight new reverb algorithms — from small rooms to reverb to large ambient spaces and experimental modes such as “Frozen” or “Nonlin” — with twelve flexible echo/delay modes.
Particularly noteworthy are the creative echo modes (e.g., Tape, Reverse, Granular “Sparkle” and “Swarm”) and the ability to route echo and reverb in any order (echo → reverb or vice versa) — ideal for creative sound designs.
In addition, there are four “Color Modes” (Bright, Neutral, Dark, Studio) which allow flexible control of sound character and tonality.
FutureVerb is available now and costs $50.
